Parent Insight Series
Our Parent Insight Series is designed to help educate parents on how children are learning in and outside their classrooms at MAC. This includes helpful parenting classes, diversity, equity and inclusion classes to Montessori in the home. Classes are designed to help educate and support parents at each stage of their child's development. Check back often as more classes and workshops are added.
If you have not yet taken the Parenting Safe Children workshop from Feather Berkower, please consider doing so. Although this is a topic that is not always comfortable to talk about it is one of THE most important topics you should be talking about: how to protect our children from sexual abuse. Feather gives you tools to use with your children and caregivers to teach them body safety. She will help you add a layer of security to your family that you never knew you should be considering. MAC is a body safe school and we are so passionate about her work that we require each staff member to take Feather’s workshop at least 2 times during their tenure to ensure they understand body-safe rules.
Feather will host a series of 2 workshops over Zoom on Parenting Safe Children on Saturday, February 3 and 10 from 9 - 11:30 AM.
